Columbia road flower market...
♥ Ceri makes... spent my Sunday morning pottering through the crowded but colurful Columbia road flower market. There was such a beautiful selection of plants and flowers being flogged by lively real life Eastenders! Lots of bargains to be had - cut flowers were going for a fiver for three bunches by 12 o'clock, so if your after a bargain I'd recommend heading down after lunch before the stalls pack up.
As tempting as it was to come home with armfuls of flowers to make the flat look jolly my project for the weekend was to liven up the window boxes and flowerbeds in our garden. Decided to cheat and get some daffs that are about to spring, the colourful trays of primroses also caught my eye...
After a much deserved cup of tea and bagel we headed home to plant up our rather empty window boxes, very pleased with the results...
So now actually looking forwards to washing up and admiring the view of my new found green fingered skills! x
